Swisslog's TransCar Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) safely, accurately and continuously transport a variety of bulk materials throughout the hospital using a revolutionary contour-following laser guidance system. Each TransCar AGV can carry up to 1,000 pounds, but the larger vehicles are primarily used to transport meal trays, laundry and bio-hazard waste.
